I simply just stop before getting near compression and my ES remains acceptable while hitting the high max speeds of the caliber. I still achieve high max speeds like 2400fps and just over without having to cram in so much powder that I get to the big ES issue. When I started loading 300BLK there was so little load info out there and I was new to reloading so I went with the most pressure forgiving super powder so I didn't blow myself up.

Yes you can pack more powder in and get a higher Max FPS but if you chrony 5 rounds you might have something ridiculous like 2465fps and then 2250fps back to back. They provide data for H110, W298, lil gun and I4227 with a 150g J. I can tell you that my experience is that once near compressed or compressed in 300BLK the Extreme Spread (ES) can get great. Since I wasn’t trying to build a wildcat 300-221, which is what a modified 300 BLK would effectively be, I went with a standard chamber cut by a Manson Reamer. All of my super loads are done with Lil'Gun.
